  1. We don’t want goods headquarter in India and manufactured in China. Instead, we want them to be manufactured in India otherwise we will still be buying made in China.

    • Completely agree, but we should give the manufacturers a bit, and of course, we are soon coming up with a video on types of Indian companies, their advantages, and disadvantages.

      Reply
        • Check Evidson Company and where they manufacture in India and put out the details. If really make in India with components also made in India, we must promote this company on top.

          • Thank you for the information!
Yes, we will add them soon as the next batch of headphones…
            Evidson
            Mivi
            Noise
            Finger
            Boat

          • Sure sir. we will take this step soon. Now government is also coming up with major changes with respect to this. Let’s wait and watch.

      • No actually if you leave manufacturers out like which Indian companies are manufacturing in China or which Chinese companies manufacturing or assembling in India I just want to understand the political or Nationalist point of view of Modiji like what is meaning of self reliant India what is vocal for local what is the goal of govt..what are the plans all these things…

        Reply
        • When he initially spoke about self-reliant India for the first time, the main point we observed was when he spoke about villages. When people cannot come out, how to keep going was his main idea of bringing this topic as we understand.

If rural India becomes autonomous, people will stop coming to the cities unnecessarily, there can be a lot of changes that can be brought about. The actual swadeshi concept is this. Be as local as possible.

If we can grow our own vegetables using hydroponics, that is a local concept too.

        • From our experience, when it is made in India, most of the time, it is assembled in India. There are 4 types of companies.
          1. Not manufactured in India, not owned by Indians, not marketed by Indians, not assembled in India, but only sold in India
          2. Not manufactured in India, not owned by Indians, marketed and assembled in India
          3. Not manufactured in India, owned by Indians
          4. Manufactured and owned by Indians
          5. Not owned by Indian, but Manufactured/assembled in India

The fourth category is the ideal situation for a country, and only a very few companies are working towards it. To reach it is not very easy given the situation, but we are slowly getting there. Let us at least look at companies in category 3, try to support, and change them.

    • I feel it is extremely difficult to remove Chinese origin/manufactured products from our lives. Our Indian manufacturing is no match for Chinese cost effective good quality products. They have achieved this success with time. This is a reality, and those who do not agree with this are not being true to themselves. But, now it is time that we Indians start manufacturing ourselves. New Indian manufacturing companies will start but they would need our support. I know they would not be good in the beginning. But we have to supoort them and give them a chance to grow for few years. There is a big advantage of having a big population. We are so many and if we decide we can do it. Imagine a world where Indian producs are excellent just like Japanese, Swiss and German products.

The first step is to identify Indian manufactured products, they should proudly show that they are Indian. And then we can start buying those products. This is the best scenario.

Assuming there are zero Indian manufacturing companies then at least we can choose Indian companies which have their manufacturing in China. This is sad but better than pure Chinese products.

      Reply
      • We agree with this viewpoint. This is just for the time being and over a period of time, this attitude should certainly change. Electronics should be the only exceptional field though.

    • Money wise companies headquartered in India and manufacturing in China will bring more money than a company based in china and manufacturing in India. Since they will only assemble in India and majority profits will go to china. We need company based in India and manufacturing in India but for that we need Incentives from govt like chinese govt gives to most of the companies for exporting out of china.

      Reply
      • This is absolutely right. A few years ago, we were not as many Indian companies are we are now. So, India will step into that mode soon.

      • We are not even sure if it is most companies or all? It takes time to manufacture electronic goods in India.

        Reply
        • Is these companies have 100% made in India products?. OR imported from china and rebranding.?
Please list companies with 100% production in India.
Or list 0% chinese connection in production and shareholders.

          • Absolutely right! In the Beginning of this campaign we should support any company whose major stacks are owned by India. We must include both 3 and 4 category company listed. But how to get the info whether the country lies in which category?? Any sources author??

          • It is really hard to find this out. We can find out the people involved in a company using govt. websites like http://www.mca.gov.in/, but the parts being imported from other countries have to be handled by the govt. by asking the customs department to check part by part thoroughly.

    Reply
    • Mivi is a good brand when it comes to sound quality. They have great sound quality and clarity along with right bass and treble. When it comes to noise cancellation, you cannot hear the surrounding sound at all. Overall, we can rate around 4.5 stars for the sound quality it offers.

And regarding the durability, the fact that it comes with a year warranty is promising.

    • In most of the cases, the facilities will be in India, but the facilities will limit themselves to assembling the imported parts from other countries. So, manufacturing in India should be more of a responsibility of the Indian companies than enforcement, which will be possible very soon.

    • Yes, ideally that’s what every patriot’s dream is, but there is one more biggest hurdle. Labor is cheap in China and in a democracy, we cannot get that cheap labor, so Indian’s should be ready to spend a few bucks more and purchase Indian products to save both India and democracy!
